Award-winning BuzzBallz is now part of the Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island portfolio.

Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island welcomed a top-selling ready-to-drink brand to its portfolio: BuzzBallz from Southern Champion. BuzzBallz is made with real fruit juice or cream and features premium spirits in both its Cocktails and Chillers. Offering bold flavor with a few shakes and a pour at 15% ABV, the brand is known for colorful ball-shaped cans for each of its many flavors. The brand is certified woman-owned, as it was founded by Merrilee Hick in 2009 as the result of her master’s degree thesis project. She serves as CEO of BuzzBallz/Southern Champion. BuzzBallz flavors include Strawberry ’Rita, Choco Chiller, Lime ’Rita, Chili Mango, Choc Tease, Tequila ’Rita and Berry Cherry Limeade among them. All of its products are gluten-free and kosher certified. The company partners with TerraCycle to recycle its unique packaging.
