
Johnson Bros. of Rhode Island spotlighted wines by Orin Swift Cellars at a tasting at The Savory Grape Wine Shop in East Greenwich on December 7. Guests tasted five wines by the Napa Valley winery, including 8 Years in the Desert, a zinfandel blend; Machete Petite Syrah; Abstract, a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Petite Syrah; Slander Pinot Noir; and Mannequin Chardonnay. Founded by California winemaker David Phinney, the St. Helena winery is now owned by E. & J. Gallo Winery.
