WHAT: Save the Bay, the charitable organization dedicated to the preservation of Narragansett Bay, will host its annual Taste of the Bay fundraising event at the Bay Center in Providence on June 12. The event will showcase food and drink from more than 30 vendors, including local restaurants, shellfish purveyors and bakeries. More than 20 local restaurants will offer festival eats, including Boat House Waterfront Dining, Bristol Oyster Bar, Giusto, Matunuck Oyster Bar, McGrath Clambakes, Inc., Mill’s Tavern with beverages from Chair 2 Light Beer, Fishers Island Lemonade, Granny Squibb’s Iced Tea, Grey Sail Brewing, Kristi’s Kraftails: Mocktails & Cocktails, Lani Sangria, Moniker Brewery, Narragansett Beer, Ragged Island Brewing, Rejects Beer Co., Shaidzon Beer Co., Sons of Liberty Spirits Co., South County Distillers, The Industrious Spirit Company and White Dog Distilling. All proceeds benefit Save the Bay’s advocacy, restoration and education efforts.
