
Waterbury’s Palace Theater hosted its annual Martinis & Mistletoe holiday party and fundraiser sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka on Dec. 5. The event showcased festive holiday cocktails by eight local venues, including The Kitchen in Prospect Bar & Grill, Sans Souci Restaurant, Signatures Restaurant, Verdi Restaurant and Vyne Restaurant & Bar. Bartenders from each venue were on-site mixing and pouring craft cocktails for guests featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The brand is distributed in Connecticut via Martignetti Companies. Guests were invited to vote for their favorite, with Jesse Camille’s restaurant in Naugatuck winning top place with its Getting Figgy With It, a blend of Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Fruitful Mission Fig Liqueur, Licor 43, fresh lemon juice and lemonade created by Bonnie Sharon and Michelle Young. Guests also enjoyed light fare by D’Amelio’s Italian Eatery, a photo station, a raffle drawing and live music by the Tom Devino Quartet throughout the evening. All proceeds benefited the Palace Theater Annual Fund, which is used to preserve and operate the historic theater and continue to serve diverse audiences with its cultural and educational offerings.
