Mina Distributors offered tastes from its wine portfolio during the 10th Annual Downtown Milford Wine Trail on September 8. The team featured Tiblalexis Estate Kokarela, Tiblalexis Estate Xenos, Muses Estate #9 White and Muses Estate #9 Red Blend. Proceeds from the annual event were donated to the United Way of Milford. Mina Distributors also added local industry professional Donna Taylor to its sales representation and tasting team, who said of her new role, “These products from the Mediterranean are like treasures … I think perhaps even our best-trained wine enthusiasts know very little when it comes to [presenting] these ancient Greek wines in the American market.” Taylor hosted several events, including tastings at Southington Wine & Spirits featuring Muses Estate #9; Manousos Wine & Liquor in Wethersfield showcasing Vidorra Sangria; and Tony’s Package Store in Haddam with Opa Opa Double IPA A-10 Warthog. A formal fall tasting took place at The Regal Beagle in New Haven on September 26, where wines from Chile, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and Greece were featured along with a variety of spirits.
