Mohegan Sun celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a Sip and Salsa event at novelle on May 5. Guests enjoyed a variety of cocktails, including craft margaritas featuring Patrón Tequila and Cointreau, paired with food from the event’s taco bar station. Special guest Val Chmerkovskiy, a Ukrainian-American professional dancer and two-time winner of TV’s “Dancing With the Stars,” led guests through a salsa dance and musical guests Latin Essence and DJ Lezlee kept them moving through the evening. Celebrants blended their own margaritas using the Patrón Tequila blender bike and enjoyed Mexico-inspired cocktails featuring Patrón Barrel Select Reposado Tequila, Reposado Tequila, Añejo Tequila and Extra Añejo Tequila.
