
Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd., fêted the kickoff of Ammunition Bourbon at accounts in the state with a party hosted at Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ in New Haven on Feb. 22. Produced by Daylight Wine & Spirits in Sonoma County, Ammunition Bourbon and Rye are blended from 2-, 3- and 4-year-old whiskeys and are each finished in Ammunition wine barrels. Ammunition Straight Bourbon Whiskey is finished in French oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels and Ammunition Straight Rye Whiskey is finished in French oak Pinot Noir barrels, imparting a unique sweetness and tannins on each expression. Representatives from the Monsieur Touton sales team met with customers and the brand’s representative, James Challice, East Coast Sales Director/Partner, Daylight Wine & Spirits, to enjoy new cocktails from Bear’s Smokehouse BBQ New Haven menu, which featured the Autumn Rye, a batched Ammunition Rye cocktail, and a Smoked Old Fashioned, featuring Ammunition Bourbon, paired with Bear’s award-winning barbecue.
