MS Walker of Rhode Island hosted a tasting event featuring Cape Classics wines and their winemakers at Narragansett’s Coast Guard House in the Anchor Room on May 4. Trade guests and accounts had the opportunity to meet renowned winemakers including Tania Careme, Winemaker, Terre Brûlée; Lars Maack, Winemaker and Owner, Bayten; Dirk Van Zyl, Winemaker, Glenelly Estate; Schalk-Willem Joubert, Cellar Master, Taaibosch Wines; Philippe Colin, Winemaker and Owner, Topiary Wine Estate with partner Gwenaelle Bidault; Charles Williams, Cellar Master, De Toren; and Peter de Wet, Winemaker and Owner, Excelsior Wine Estate. Attendees also enjoyed light fare prepared by the Coast Guard House culinary team to pair with wine selections.
