MS Walker of Rhode Island went “pink” on Oct. 7 to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research with raffles and donations to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The company hosted a barbeque lunch catered by South County Barbeque at its Warren headquarters on the lawn as staff enjoyed the day bedecked in pink. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer, as well as to raise funds for national and local research and support organizations. One of MS Walker’s portfolio spirits, Gin Lane 1751, donated 50% of its profits to support breast cancer research during the October campaign, including from Rhode Island on- and off-premise sales.
