Catherine Francucci, National Sales Director, Murphy Distributors, Inc., was presented with a 2020 Women of Excellence Award during a Zoom ceremony on Oct. 8. The awards, presented on behalf of the Clinton, Old Saybrook and Shoreline chambers of commerce, are given annually to recognize women from Connecticut’s shoreline region who work to better their communities through volunteering and mentoring efforts, and who also empower others through their leadership. The virtual event was hosted by Ann Nyberg of WTNH-TV Channel 8, with appearances by Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and Keynote Speaker Carlene Lange.
