Murphy Distributors welcomed the addition of Connecticut-made Bouvery CV Chocolate Liqueur at Westford Hill Distillers in Ashford on September 13. Made at Westford Hill Distillers, the chocolate vodka liqueur brand was created by Danny Bouvery. Westford Hill Distillers Co-owners Louis Chatey and Margaret Chatey, along with Bouvery, educated the Murphy Distributors team as part of the official launch with the Branford-based distributor. A distillery tour showcased how the gluten-free chocolate liqueur is blended on the premises and how the vodka is distilled. The cacao, sourced from South America and West Africa, is low-fat, with Rainforest Alliance, Fair Trade and UTZ certifications. Bouvery led guests through his brand story from creation of the recipe to market. A tasting of the liqueur and cocktails for guests to showcase its mixing capabilities was also part of the presentation.
