By October 26, 2023Connecticut, Top News

Champagne Emile Leclère Brut, a new French import in the Murphy Distributors portfolio, is made from 100% Chardonnay. The wine line includes a diverse range of cuvées.

Murphy Distributors introduced French import Champagne Emile Leclère to its portfolio. Hailing from vineyards nestled in the village of Mardeuil, this fifth-generation family house has been crafting Champagnes since 1832. “We are delighted to bring the legacy and artistry of Champagne Emile Leclère to Connecticut,” said Murphy Distributors President Matthew Murphy. “This Champagne is a testament to the expertise that has been passed down through generations, and we are proud to share it with our clientele, especially as the holiday season approaches.” Winemakers Vincent and Marie Leclère tend to the 30 acres of vineyards, producing the namesake Champagnes from 70% Pinot Meunier, 24% Chardonnay and 6% Pinot Noir, resulting in a harmonious blend of flavors using a hands-on approach that ensures the commitment to quality that definines the diverse range of cuvées. “The new brand’s arrival at Murphy Distributors promises to elevate this festive season,” Murphy said. “Emile Leclère Champagnes pair best with celebrations of any kind.”
