Murphy Distributors added Grey Coast Irish Whiskey to its spirits offerings. The award-winning Irish whiskey, crafted using a unique combination of casks and whiskey styles, takes center stage just in time for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Grey Coast Irish Whiskey is a collaboration between professional golfer Graeme McDowell and family-owned Boann Distillery located just north of Dublin. The use of virgin American oak casks imbues notes of warm vanilla and delicious honeycomb, with undertones of golden syrup expertly layered by the ex-bourbon barrels and complemented by Oloroso sherry casks’ notes of raisin, almond and hints of spice. “Grey Coast [Irish Whiskey] has exceptional quality and craftsmanship,” said Matthew Murphy, President of Murphy Distributors. “We are thrilled to showcase this award-winning gem as part of our portfolio, and offer our customers a quality product that fits perfectly with St. Patrick’s Day.” Grey Coast Irish Whiskey has earned accolades of distinction, including a gold medal in the Blended Irish Whiskey category at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and 91 points at the Chilled 100 Spirits Awards.
