Murphy Distributors welcomed Joshua Alexander to its team to help reshape how premium spirits connect with Connecticut’s on-premise community. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, Alexander brings restaurant and sales leadership experience to the Branford-based distributor. In his new role as Spirits Brand Manager, he is committed to ensuring that the products he represents are more than just items on a shelf, he said. “I consider myself a brand builder,” Alexander said. “There are a lot of good companies getting buried, and I want to be the one to stand up for them.” His vision includes a robust schedule of tastings, events and one-on-one consultations that will bring exceptional brands directly to the tables of local restaurants and bars. “[At Murphy Distributors], I see a team that is all about bringing more profitability and real support to their accounts,” said Alexander.
