The Twin River Casino Event Center hosted the 4th Annual New England Whiskey Festival on September 30. Suppliers gathered to showcase the latest whiskey products, trends and innovations. Guests learned about brands and sampled from an array of whiskies accompanied by food and entertainment. Proceeds from the event benefited the Rhode Island Hospitality Education Foundation. World-renowned bartender Steve Schneider from New York/Singapore’s Employees Only, who can be seen in the feature film, “Hey Bartender,” served as the master of ceremonies. An opening night Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Spirited dinner kicked off the festivities on September 28 at Fred & Steve’s Steakhouse, hosted by Chris Fletcher, Assistant Master Distiller of Jack Daniel’s Distillery.
