
Celebrants gathered in New Haven to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition on December 1, 2018. Team members from Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut kicked off their celebration in a citywide event dressed as flappers and bootleggers, starting at Ordinary. Approximately 21 New Haven bars and restaurants coordinated in the themed event serving Prohibition-era inspired cocktails, including 116 Crown, The Anchor Spa, BAR, Barcelona Wine Bar, Bull & Swine, Cask Republic, Cast Iron Chef Chop House & Oyster Bar, Christy’s, Elm City Social, Firehouse 12, Geronimo Tequila Bar, Kitchen Zinc, Mecha, Oak Haven, Olives and Oil, Ordinary, The Owl Shop, Pacifico, Temple Grill, Shell & Bones and Zafra.
