
The Botanist Gin was highlighted during a master class hosted at Oak Haven Table & Bar in New Haven on Sept. 4. Madelyn Kay, National Brand Ambassador, The Botanist Gin, led the educational event for trade guests, where they learned the history of The Botanist and its distillation techniques. Guests enjoyed a full menu of cocktails featuring The Botanist Gin and food prepared by the Oak Haven team. Kay traveled with Michael Loudon, Regional Field Marketing Manager – Northeast, Rémy Cointreau, for additional stops to train bar teams in the city for the day. Crafted at Scotland’s famed Bruichladdich Distillery, The Botanist Gin features 31 botanicals, including nine traditional botanicals that form the base flavor of the gin and 22 botanicals that are foraged on the island of Islay in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.

- The Islay Punch cocktail, a blend of The Botanist Gin, Suze Gentian Liqueur, Pierre Ferrand Yuzu Curaçao, lemon juice, agave and egg whites served with a citrus aromatic bubble.
- The Rivers & Streams cocktail: The Botanist Gin, Carpano Bianco, Wild Moon Botanics Sumac, lemon juice, agave nectar, orange cream citrate and egg white, smoked with applewood chips.
