MS Walker recently welcomed two new expressions in the Pelotón de la Muerte line of artisanal mezcals to its portfolio in August. Pelotón de la Muerte Criollo Mezcal is open-air fermented for five days and double-distilled, resulting in an intense flavor with light, smoky notes. Pelotón de la Muerte Pechuga Mezcal is a vegan mezcal made from a blend of wild agaves that are roasted and distilled together, creating notes of cooked agave, mandarin, oranges, anise and mint. These two new expressions join Pelotón de la Muerte’s popular Espadín expression, known among mixologists for its well-balanced flavor profile.
