The Beervana Fest team, led by founders Mike Iannazzi of Nikki’s Liquors and Brian Oakley of Julian’s, hosted the second NOIPA Fest at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence on June 10. A spinoff of the annual Beervana Fest, NOIPA Fest 2: The Sequel created a spotlight for the many other styles of craft beer, giving guests the chance to “learn about the many beautiful and exciting classic styles that are really not getting much exposure in the current world,” the organizers said. Billed as an “exploration and celebration of diverse beer styles,” the festival offered guests the opportunity to expand their craft beer horizons with tastes of lagers, ales, Belgian blondes, dunkels, pilsners, goses, milds, gruits, kölschs, porters, barley wines and more.
