Oak Haven Table & Bar hosted a pairing dinner highlighting Corazón Tequila in New Haven on Nov. 19. Guests enjoyed a six-course, Mexican-inspired meal prepared by Oak Haven’s culinary team, each paired with a different expression of barrel-aged Corazón Tequila, which included Sazerac Rye Añejo, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Añejo, George T. Stagg Añejo, Blanton’s Single Barrel Reposado and William Larue Weller Single Barrel Reposado. Part of the Expresiones del Corazón collection of tequilas, the tequilas are aged in barrels from Buffalo Trace’s Antique Collection, imparting flavors of the Buffalo Trace rye and bourbon expressions that rested in each barrel.
