The Safari Room Restaurant and Bar at OceanCliff in Newport, in collaboration with Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island, hosted an Orin Swift wine dinner on February 19. The four-course menu was paired with wines from Orin Swift Cellars, including Mannequin Chardonnay, Slander Pinot Noir, Machete Red Blend and Papillon Red Blend. The event began with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a Champagne toast. Founded by California winemaker David Phinney in 1998, the St. Helena winery is now owned by E. & J. Gallo Winery, with Phinney crafting the iconic California wines.
