
Marcelino’s Boutique Bar in Providence hosted a team takeover event featuring the talents of mixologists Joey Fernandez and Roberto Berdecia of Puerto Rico’s La Factoría on June 8. During the A Night in the Caribbean event, Fernandez and Berdecia mixed up craft cocktails for guests featuring spirits available in Rhode Island through MS Walker, including Citadelle Gin, Plantation Rum and Pierre Ferrand Cognac. Guests enjoyed assorted event cocktails while listening to music from Moreno Isaza. Known as one of Puerto Rico’s most influential and renowned cocktail bars, La Factoría has been named one of the World’s 50 Best Bars by William Reed’s 50 Best for five consecutive years and its bartenders were recognized as Best National Bar Team of the Year in 2023.
