Wine Wizards hosted a tasting of the Pacific Northwest’s Swick Wines at Frank & Laurie’s in Providence on March 10. Kat Cummings, Sales Representative, Wine Wizards, co-hosted the event with special guest Joe Swick, Winemaker/Proprietor, Swick Wines, who presented the wines to guests. During the evening, guests tasted Swick Wines Lanyard Loop, The Final Hurrah Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Swick Wines are raw and sustainable wines made by Oregon native Swick, who harvests organic grapes from vineyards in the colder regions of Washington State and Oregon and bottles them without conventional additives, only using a small amount of sulfur dioxide for certain wines to preserve them when necessary, resulting in a fresh and balanced taste.
