Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island showcased Rombauer Vineyards for dinner guests of The Capital Grille in Providence on Nov. 30. Hosted by Bill Figulski, Senior Business Development Manager, E. & J. Gallo Winery, and Jill Hamilton, Sales Representative, Johnson Brothers of Rhode Island, participants enjoyed a five-course meal each paired with a different Rombauer Vineyards wine. Showcased wines included Rombauer Vineyards Carneros Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley Merlot, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. Also on display was the 2019 edition of the “Joy of Cooking” cookbook by Irma S. Rombauer, which was revised and expanded upon by Rombauer’s great-grandson John Becker and Becker’s wife, Megan Scott. Since 1980, Rombauer Vineyards has produced award-winning wines, including its Carneros Chardonnay, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley Merlot, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Diamond Selection Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. In April 2022, Rombauer Vineyards acquired three additional premium vineyards totaling 154 vine acres in the California appellations of Carneros-Sonoma, Sonoma Valley and Fiddletown.
