Brescome Barton, in collaboration with Constellation Brands, hosted an Italian wine-pairing dinner showcasing Ruffino at Red Fox Prime Steakhouse in Glastonbury on April 3. Guests enjoyed a five-course meal, each paired with a different wine from Ruffino’s acclaimed wine line. Throughout the evening, guests tasted Ruffino Aqua di Venus Rosé, Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico, Modus, and Prosecco and cocktails featuring The Real McCoy Single Blended Rum, Averna Amaro Siciliano and 9 di Dante Inferno Vermouth di Torino Superiore. Founded in 1877 by cousins Ilario and Leopoldo Ruffino, the Ruffino brand made its mark in 1881 when its Chianti won a Gold medal at the Milan Wine Exhibition. Today, under winemaker Gabriele Tacconi, the Ruffino name offers more than 135 years of tradition and innovation in Italian wine.
