
Beverage professionals were treated to an educational session on Remy Martin’s Louis XIII Cognac at Twin River Casino on September 4, 2015 with the spirit’s brand ambassador, Philippe Vasilescu. Blended from 1,200 eaux-de-vie exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, and aged up to 100 years in century-old tiercon barrels, Louis XIII is “the rarest spirit in the world.” It has a 95-point Wine Enthusiast rating. Four generations of cellar masters have succeeded each other to produce a cognac with “unparalleled aromatic richness and the most complex flavor palate.” The a 750mL bottle retailing on average at $4,500 U.S. and in the Ocean State, is available via Rhode Island Distributing Co.
