
The Madison Beach Hotel Curio Collection by Hilton celebrated Repeal Day with a Prohibition-style cocktail party on Dec. 5. Local bartenders, as well as supplier and wholesaler representatives, all created a unique craft cocktail for guests while dressed in their best 1920s-era attire. Costumed guests tasted each cocktail and voted for their favorites while enjoying passed canapes and dancing to swing music by the Survivors Swing Band. The winning cocktail was by Joe Gennaro, Account Development Manager, Brescome Barton. Brands showcased during the evening included Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut, Bumbu Rum, Luc Belaire Rare Rosé, Wild Turkey Rare Breed Bourbon Whiskey, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, St. George Baller Single Malt Whiskey, St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, Naud Cognac VSOP, Elijah Craig Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof Rye Whiskey, Campari, Wild Turkey Rare Breed Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, McQueen and the Violet Fog Gin, Amador Double Barrel Rye Whiskey and Diplomático Reserva Rum.
