
Industry professionals and celebrants gathered in New Haven to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition on Dec. 3. Team members from Slocum & Sons kicked off their celebration of the citywide event dressed as flappers and bootleggers. Close to 20 New Haven bars and restaurants coordinated themed events and served Prohibition-era inspired cocktails, including 116 Crown, Anchor Spa, Archie Moore’s, BAR, Chacra, Delaney’s, Elm City Social, Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, Heirloom at The Study, Oak Haven Table & Bar, Olives and Oil, Ordinary, The Owl Shop, Pacifico, Sherkaan Indian Street Food, Tavern on State, Via Gastrobar, Villa Lulu and Zinc. Showcased spirits suppliers were Barsol Pisco, Bumbu Rum Company, Cocchi, Clyde May’s, Dolin, Four Roses Bourbon, George Remus, Glendalough Distillery, Green Hat, Hine Cognac, Litchfield Distillery, Luxardo, Pinhook, Prairie Organic Spirits and Próspero Tequila.
