Several Rhode Island-based craft breweries and brands were showcased at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Casino for its ninth annual Sun Brewfest on Oct. 8. Ocean State brands in attendance included Whalers Brewing Company, Narragansett Beer, Loyal 9 Cocktails and Grey Sail Brewing. More than 100 beers in a variety of styles were available for guests to taste, including ales, lagers, sour ales, stouts, pilsners, Belgian-style ales, IPAs and seasonal IPAs, along with select seltzers, spirits and seasonal craft cocktails. Beer lovers paired selections with eats, sweets, games and entertainment.
