
Rhode Island PBS hosted its annual “An Evening Uncorked!” event on April 7. Celebrating 50-plus years of public television in Rhode Island, the event brings together fine wine, craft beers and small bites from area restaurants and purveyors. David Piccerelli, President, Rhode Island PBS, welcomed guests with special guest co-host Amy Traverso of PBS’s “Weekend with Yankee.” Silent and live auctions featured boutique wines and unique gift packages and proceeds benefited Rhode Island PBS. Sponsors and selections from within the beverage industry included Horizon Beverage of Rhode Island, MS Walker, Goose Island Beer Co. and Santa Margherita wines among others, with featured cuisine from Bluefin Grille, Capital Grille, Chapel Grille, Coast Guard House, David Burke Prime, The Dorrance, Luigi’s, Matunuck Oyster, Port au Feu, Salted Slate and more.
