
The Rhode Island Seafood Festival hosted its 14th annual event at India Point Park in Providence on Sept. 7 and 8. Each year, the event brings together the best local purveyors of seafood and other fine fare, as well as beer, wine and spirits from Ocean State producers and wholesalers for two days of scenic seafood, sips, music and fun. Food trucks showcased favorites such as lobster rolls, clam cakes, calamari, oysters, littlenecks and scallops among the shellfish treats fried, boiled, and sauced and more from participating vendors. Sips included Narragansett Beer, Del’s Shandy, Lani Sangria, Sons of Liberty Beer & Spirits Co., Whalers Brewing Company and Deep Eddy Vodka.
