The University Club in Providence hosted a Rosé Soirée for its members on Aug. 10. Representatives from multiple distributors were on-site pouring a variety of rosés from all over the globe, representing six countries, 24 regions and 36 grape varieties. University Club’s Sommelier Jaimie Puckett, C.S. said, “From cellar-worthy Bandol and Champagne rosé to youthful, vibrant Tuscan picks, there will be something for everyone and lots to discover.” Guests enjoyed canapés prepared by Executive Chef Dr. Gary Comella and team, while sipping their selections in the University Club’s grotto. A premier gathering place set in a historical environment, the University Club was founded in 1899 for literary, scientific, artistic, athletic and social pursuits, hosting member and private events on the grounds.
