
Angelini Wine Ltd. showcased selections from its Italian wine imports during a pairing dinner at Rustica Ristorante in Chester on May 24. The five-course meal paired Livon Pinot Grigio Grande 2022, Il Borro Borrorosa 2023, Piazzo Barolo Valente 2019, Palagetto Bellarina Brunello di Montalcino 2018 and Angelini Brachetto d’Acqui 2023 with fine Italian cuisine handcrafted by the Rustica team led by Owners Conchi and Vicente Contreras. The wines were presented with each course by Angelini Wine Ltd. Co-owner Julius Angelini.

- Il Borro Borrorosa 2023 was paired with a fresh grape tomato salad with basil, extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and Stracciatella cheese.
- Homemade pappardelle pasta with mixed mushrooms, garlic, onions, butter and Parmigiano cheese sauce was paired with Piazzo Barolo Valente 2019.
- A dessert cannoli of ricotta cheese, chocolate chips and orange zest was paired with Angelini Brachetto d’Acqui 2023, a chilled dry red dessert wine.
- Palagetto Bellarina Brunello di Montalcino 2018 was paired with grilled New York sirloin finished with a Brunello demi-glace and served with potatoes and vegetables.
