Sage Cellars of Warren hosted a series of in-store tastings and wine dinners during September with a variety of visiting suppliers. To highlight the Howell Mountain AVA wines from California’s Napa Valley, a series of in-store tastings and dinners took place recognizing Sage Cellar’s selection of wines produced by women winemakers. The “Women of Howell Mountain” visiting the state included Heather Griffin from Summit Lake Vineyards, Angela Jordaan from Bosman Family Vineyards and Rebecca Rock from Bridge Lane/Lieb Cellars. Mendoza, Argentina’s Gabriel Baigorria from Mi Terruño was a guest at several tastings. All were highlighted at the Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival.
