
Savor the Flavors of Rhode Island, a signature food and wine tasting fundraiser for Special Olympics Rhode Island, was held at Harbor Lights in Warwick on Aug. 17. Emceed by Co-host Mario Hilario of NBC 10 News, the event showcased cuisine from more than 25 venues from around the Ocean State paired with wine, beer and spirits selections, which included brands from within the portfolios of Horizon Beverage, Mancini Beverage and sponsor MS Walker. Rhode Island-specific brand tastes such as KEEL Vodka, Sons of Liberty Beer & Spirits Co., Two Gals Cocktails, Narragansett Beer and more were showcased alongside a range of domestic and imported offerings. Special Olympics Rhode Island is a year-round sports training and competition nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status, providing state and national opportunities for thousands of state athletes since its founding.
