WHAT: Newport Vineyards will celebrate the beginning of fall and apple harvest season with its Cider Festival. Guests will enjoy several of Newport Vineyards’ award-winning hard ciders and other seasonal treats including a cider slushy and cider sangria, along with festival eats. The venue’s Cidermaker and Winemaker George Chelf will be at the cider bar pouring samples. Food and additional beverages will be available for purchase, with Chef Andy Teixeira cooking over an open fire pit, roasting up turkey legs, brisket chili and more. Entertainment will include live music by Straight Outta Rehab, a pie eating contest, a kids candy hunt, lawn games, and free axe throwing for ages 12+ through Kingdom Axe RI.
