Hartford Distributors Inc./Franklin and Star Distributors each launched Shiner Specialty Beers from Spoetzl Brewery, a Gambrinus brand, in company-wide kick-offs on April 28, 2014. About 40 HDI/Franklin staff enjoyed the outdoor event and Shiner. At Star Distributors, the beer line launched with a southwest-themed breakfast, presentation and education on Shiner Bock, Ruby Redbird, White Wing and Wild Hare. Spoetzl Brewery, makers of the Shiner line, was founded in 1909 and is located in Shiner, Texas.
