Slocum & Sons added new Provence wines to its rosé portfolio: Rose Gold Côtes de Provence Rosé and Château de Pampelonne Côtes de Provence Rosé. Rose Gold Côtes de Provence Rosé is a classic dry Provence rosé, pale pink in color with aromas of rich, fresh fruit, followed by hints of white flowers and minerals for a refined, delicate rosé that is both fresh and delicious, a 13% ABV offering that pairs well with all occasions. Château de Pampelonne Côtes de Provence Rosé also hails from Provence, France. Made from Shiraz/Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan, Cinsault and Tibouren grapes, the rosé wine offers a classic example from the region and is elegant and lively in the mouth, with mineral refinement alongside peach and hawthorn notes. The wine starts with notes of under-ripe citrus, but slowly unfolds to show hints of cranberry, tart cherries, peach and citrus, together with a long, refreshing finish.
- Rose Gold Côtes de Provence Rosé, a French provincial rosé, goes well with light salads and pasta dishes, as well as shellfish, grilled fish, or goat cheeses.
- Château de Pampelonne creates its wines from a 17th century château, owned by the Gasquet-Pascaud family since 1840. The 400-acre domaine is situated along the famous French Riviera coast near Saint Tropez, with Marie Pascaud directing the winemaking today. It is best known for its Côtes de Provence Rosé.
