The 2021 Small State Great Beer Festival, hosted by Hartford Prints! in collaboration with Hartford Athletic, took place at Dillon Stadium in Hartford on Oct. 30, 2021. The annual event, which served up beer, cider and spirits from more than 40 Connecticut-based brands, took advantage of the Halloween weekend timing, with guests encouraged to wear costumes. Tastings during two general admission sessions were offered, as well as a VIP hour throughout the day with food truck vendors and a backdrop of live music. The evening’s festivities continued with an afterparty in Parkville Market, a new food hall in Hartford’s Parkville neighborhood. Other sponsors included HYPE, Powerstation Events, Brignole Vineyards, Axa XL Insurance, Westfield Bank, Sheraton Hotel Hartford at Bradley Airport and Park & Main.
