SoNo 1420 Maritime Distillery fêted the release of its latest spirit, Finished at Sea Straight Bourbon Whiskey, at its South Norwalk distillery and tasting room on Jan. 24. Hosted by Founder and Distiller Ted Dumbauld, guests enjoyed a tasting of the new bourbon and signature cocktails created by Mixologist Blake Poon. Customers purchasing a bottle of SoNo 1420 Finished at Sea Straight Bourbon Whiskey received a half dozen oysters from Precious Oysters. SoNo 1420 was founded in 2019 by Dumbauld, who launched the distillery after experimenting with hemp-based whiskey recipes. All of the brand’s ultra-premium, award-winning spirits are crafted in historic South Norwalk on Day Street. The brand includes whiskeys, gins, vodkas and ready-to-drink cocktails and is self-distributed in Connecticut.
