
In honor of its 50th anniversary, the Special Olympics of Rhode Island hosted a second annual Savor the Flavors of Rhode Island food tasting and cocktail event at Roger Williams Park Casino in Providence on August 16. Guests enjoyed food from a variety of vendors including Basta Italian Restaurant, Providence GPub, Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille and The Safe House. Beverage selections included cocktails by KEEL Vodka, beer from Revival Brewing Co. and wine from Newport Vineyards.

- Gabrielle Charbonneau of Red Fin Crudo + Kitchen gave a cocktail demonstration, creating a variation of a Bee’s Knees cocktail, substituting Jeptha Creed Vodka for gin.
- Jamie Lacasse, Bartender and Brand Ambassador, Revival Brewing Co. pouring Revival Brewing Co.’s new Hail Beary Blueberry Sour Ale.
- A display of wines from Newport Vineyards, including Newport Vineyards Vidal Blanc, Newport Vineyards Dry Rosé and Newport Vineyards Rochambeau.
