
The Providence Biltmore was the site of Star Chefs Rising Star Awards Tasting Gala and Awards Ceremony on April 15, 2014. Hundreds of guests, including New-England area chefs and beverage professionals, sampled cuisine, beer and cocktails from Rhode Island and Maine nominees. Bartender Jay Carr of The Eddy, Chef James Mark of North, Chef Derek Wagner of Nicks on Broadway, Chefs Tyler Burnley and Chad Hoffer of Thames Street Kitchen, Chef Matt Jennings, Farmstead Inc. and Chef Jake Rojas of Tallulah on Thames were among winners.
