Sun Tequila Tasting Pours for Second Year

Mohegan Sun presented its second annual Sun Tequila Tasting on July 20, 2018, where approximately 1,700 guests enjoyed tastes from more than 50 different tequila brands. Craft cocktails were available to sample featuring tequila, mezcal and other liquors, while event sponsor Tito’s Handmade Vodka featured summer-themed craft cocktails, including the Tito’s Watermelon Cooler, the Tito’s Cold Brew and the Tito’s Paloma. Live entertainment and samples of light Mexican fare, including tacos, guacamole, and chips and salsa, were paired with the spirit offerings. The venue also offered an outdoor lounge with a dessert bar. Proceeds from the event benefited the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut.
