
Mohegan Sun’s annual Sun Wine & Food Fest returned to Mohegan Sun Jan. 28-30, kicking off with a whiskey tasting in the casino’s Earth Ballroom. Sponsored by Beam Suntory, Inc., the Whiskies of the World event featured whiskies and Scotches from a variety of destinations across the globe, including Kentucky, Japan, Ireland and Scotland, paired with light cuisine inspired by each spirit’s origin. Celebrity Chefs Kevin Des Chenes, Brian Duffy, Lamar Moore and David Rose made special guest appearances during the evening.
- Kilbeggan Traditional Irish Whiskey, Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey and Connemara Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey.
- Suntory Whisky Toki, a Japanese whisky, is a blended whisky from Suntory’s three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita.
- Kimberly Harris, Banquets, Mohegan Sun pouring Laphroaig Quarter Cask The Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
- Mohegan Sun’s Elizabeth Rountree showcasing Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey.
