Several local food and beverage companies volunteered to benefit the nonprofit organization Jane Doe No More at the Naugatuck Events Center on Nov. 4, 2021. During “An Evening of Tasteful Tasting,” guests enjoyed a variety of wine, craft beer, cider and spirits donated by Connecticut-based suppliers and distributors, including brands and companies such as Arrowood Wines, Il Fauno, Aquila’s Nest Vineyards, Litchfield Distillery, Sono 1420 American Craft Distillers, Truly Hard Seltzer, Masi and J. Lohr Wines, with craft beer selections available through Back East Brewing Co. and Reverie Brewing Co. Guests enjoyed live music performed by Backbeat and enjoyed eats from a variety of local food vendors. Sponsored by Salem Wine & Spirits, ion Bank and Backbeat, event proceeds benefited Jane Doe No More, a Naugatuck-based 501(c)(3) organization working to empower survivors of sexual violence.
