Barrington’s Grapes & Grains teamed up with the nonprofit Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA) for Tasting for Tails at Hope & Main in Warren on January 25. The event featured tasting tables from area culinary establishments with each table expertly paired by the Grapes & Grains team with a wine, spirit or craft beer to bring “out the best of each bite.” Suppliers and distributor representatives were on hand to discuss featured tastes. With a mission to “speak for those who cannot speak for themselves,” the RISPCA is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that relies solely on community support to care for more than 1,300 dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and small animals each year.
