
The Cocktail Chemist and The Commissioners Cigar Lounge in Waterbury partnered on March 1 for an evening of cocktails and cigars. The Cocktail Chemist ready-to-drink craft cocktail canned line was founded by Connecticut Bartender Dimitrios Zahariadis, who works as both The Cocktail Chemist and Bartender at Cheshire’s Viron Rondo Osteria. Zahariadis showcased flavors for guests: the Mojito, a blend of Caribbean rum with mint, freshly squeezed lime juice and cane sugar; Something Good, a blend of vodka, lemon juice and cane sugar with notes of elderflower and lavender; and Espresso Martini, a blend of American corn vodka and cold brew espresso, infused with nitro and a hint of vanilla flavor. Each 200ml can is 10% ABV and all flavors are gluten- and preservative-free. The Cocktail Chemist canned cocktail line is available via Connecticut Distributors, Inc. Guests also enjoyed a Fratello’s Vice Versa, a showcased selection from The Commissioners Cigar Lounge.
