Torrington’s The Cork Fine Wine & Spirits hosted an in-store tasting of Litchfield Distillery Batchers’ Straight Bourbon Whiskey on May 22. The bourbon was from a private-barrel bourbon crafted by Litchfield Distillery specially for The Cork. Doug Maloney, Brand Ambassador, Litchfield Distillery, poured tastes during the event. Litchfield Distillery Batchers’ Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the winner of numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal from The Fifty Best 2019, a Silver and Bronze Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a Bronze Medal at the New York International Spirits Competition. Litchfield Distillery Batchers’ Straight Bourbon Whiskey is aged in No. 4 charred barrels for a smooth taste with a peppery finish and notes of vanilla and butterscotch.
