The Mascot Wine was showcased during a pairing dinner at Westerly’s COAST restaurant at Ocean House on June 22. The Mascot, a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon by Will Harlan of Harlan Estates, is made from grapes harvested from the younger vines of the Promontory, BOND and Harlan Estates vineyards. Dinner attendees enjoyed a five-course meal prepared by the culinary team, each featuring a different Mascot vintage: The Mascot 2010, The Mascot 2012 and The Mascot 2017, presented by special guests The Mascot’s Anthony Mendelson, Director, and Ashley Oesterle, Partnerships and Communications. The Mascot wines are available in Rhode Island via Horizon Beverage – Wine Marketing division.
