
Officials celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the Tiverton Casino Hotel in Tiverton, Rhode Island, on August 30. The casino, which holds 1,000 slot machines and 32 table games, officially opened on September 1. Additionally, the new casino will have 84 hotel rooms, set to open later in the fall. Its beverage offerings include a central bar with bottle service, an IPourIt self-serve wine-and beer-dispensing system and 1,500-bottle fine wine wall. Two fine-dining restaurants, Trattoria Romana and the Tuscan Chophouse each run by Chef Luciano Canova, are also now open.
